Flex Drive Term & Conditions
- Minimum rental period is 1 month.
- The renter must be a holder of a valid debit/credit card, accepted by Hertz, for the pre-authorization of the renter's liability as well as the settlement of final rental charges.
- The renter must prepay the cost of the 1st rental period as well as the cost of 2 monthly rentals, which will be considered as an one-off subscription fee, before the start of the rental. If the rental is terminated after 18 months without any interruption, the amount of the subscription fee is fully refundable, otherwise it will be withheld.
- The monthly rental period begins at the date of the vehicle pick-up and is renewed on a monthly basis, after the successful pre-payment. If a monthly payment fails, the renter has to return the car within 24 hours.
- The renter has the right to terminate the rental at any point. Please note that all rates applicable for this program have been calculated on a monthly basis. No adjustment in price will be made for vehicles returned earlier than the original monthly date.
Flex Drive allows you to get a car with a fixed monthly rate and keep for as long as you really need it.
Because Flex Drive is the only program that allows you to:
- Pick up the vehicle within 24 hours

- Car replacement in case of damage
Flex Drive is a monthly subscription based service. Before the pickup of the vehicle, you will need to pay the an initial subscription fee:
- The subscription fee is equal to the amount of 2 monthly rentals.
- The subscription fee is fully refunded after 18 months of uninterrupted rental, otherwise it will be withheld.
Flex Drive can be used from everyone.
The only thing that you need to do is to choose from one of the available vehicles, send your request and one of our agents will contact you soon.
In case you surpass the number of free kilometers, there is a small extra fee that applies per extra kilometer.
You rental is renewed automatically every month, after a successful charge of your credit/debit card.
To terminate your rental, you will need to inform us via email at least 6 days before your next payment is due. If you have completed more than 18 months of continuous rental, the subscription fee will be fully refunded as long as any possible no charges arise from damages.
After we have confirmed availability all the necessary paperwork and payments has been completed, you must pick-up within 4 business days. If you fail to do so, please note that the reservation will be cancelled.
You may pick up the vehicle from one of our location around Croatia. We can also deliver it to your door for an extra fee.
Please note that if the car you have chosen is not available in your area you wish to pick it up from, we may transfer it for an extra fee.
Of course! All you need to do is to contact us via email stating the car model on listed on our website that you wish to upgrade. After we confirm availability, we will inform you in order to pay the subscription difference between the 2 car models.
E.g. if you are renting a vehicle with monthly rental rate of €250 and at the start of your rental you have paid a subscription fee of €500. If you want to upgrade to a vehicle with a monthly rental rate of €350, then you the extra amount you will be asked to pay is €700-€500 = €200.
Please note that after 18 months of continuous rental, you will be refunded the amount of the initial subscription fee (€500) while the extra amount (i.e. €200 in the example) will be refunded after 18 months of rental have been completed from the date of payment.
The driver must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Be a holder of a Croatian, European of International Driving License for at least 1 year
- Be a holder of a credit/debit card
Yes, an extra driver is included in Flex Drive rental rate for free! You may also add additional drivers at any point of your rental.
Please note that all extra drivers must be at least 21 years old and have a a Croatian, European of International Driving License for at least 1 year.
All available vehicles are slightly used, no more than 3 years old and all have passed our 19-point technical inspection.
